Things to Do in Walnut Ridge, AR (November 2026)

Walnut Ridge is the county seat of Lawrence County, a railroad town founded in 1875 where the Ozark foothills meet the Delta along Rock and Roll Highway 67. In September 1964 the Beatles changed planes at the local airport, their only stop in Arkansas, and the town now celebrates it with a downtown sculpture park, a giant guitar walkway and a free festival every fall. The same airfield trained thousands of World War II pilots, a story told at the Wings of Honor Museum.
